grocery shopping made cheaper.

In our society, ‘healthy’ is synonymous with expensive. Buying fresh, organic foods certainly comes at a higher cost than more commonly found, shelf stable items. However, being resourceful about WHERE you shop and for WHAT, can make a tremendous difference. Over the course of my many years of grocery shopping, I’ve developed quite the strategy. The strategy involves purchasing certain items at certain stores in order to acquire the best price. Health-sustaining shopping, made more affordable – what’s better than that?

Now, this list is not exhaustive. I’m sure as I continue on my journey, I’ll encounter smarter ways to save. However, I’m hoping this brings you a greater sense of relief as you shop, knowing you’re saving a few extra dollars along the way. When I grocery shop for the week, I generally find myself at Shoprite or my local natural market. Produce is 80% of my cart and I find Shoprite is the best in terms of affordability at this time. On occasion, I’ll take the trip to Whole Foods (Heaven on Earth) and relish in all the aisles and their beauty. But at the end of the day, the most cost effective route is always the route for me. The list below encompasses additional pantry staples that I will STOCK up on when I encounter them at incredible prices, as I have at these specified locations. That said, I hope this brings you benefit as it has for me.
